Dedicated Internet Access (DIA)

Dedicated symmetric bandwidth for larger enterprise sites, with bandwidths of 10Mbps to 10Gbps available, delivered over optical fibre or microwave.

Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) is perfect for larger enterprise users such as tech, pharma, finance, logistics and other organisations that need the absolute highest quality internet connectivity. Nova Telecom will deliver either true optical fibre or a microwave radio link to your sites, providing dedicated bandwidth with 100% CIR and no contention.

You can rely on Nova Telecom DIA for lowest latency and jitter and dependable throughput at all times for your mission-critical sites and applications. Speeds are symmetric on most packages, so upload speed is equal to download speed, making the service ideal for large users with multiple branches or users who are very dependent on cloud applications or large data transfers. Access is provided over optical fibre or microwave, with static IP provided as standard.

The service is monitored 24/7/365 right down to a Nova Telecom NTU (Network Termination Unit) in your rack. Service is handed off on either a fibre or RJ45 demarcation port. A full Service Level Agreement is provided along with priority support from our NOC.

Advantages of DIA over standard broadband services:

  • Bandwidths from 10Mbps to 10Gbps with no contention providing dedicated bandwidth

  • CIR of 100% of package speed for predictable performance

  • Delivered over optical fibre or microwave link

  • Full SLA (Service Level Agreement)

  • 24/7 NOC phone support

  • Centralised monitoring of uptime, latency & bandwidth usage by our NOC

  • Priority support is given to SLA customers

  • Traffic prioritised on the network, ideal for mission-critical online business activities

  • No limits on data transferred

  • IP blocks available

  • Resilient circuit options available

We will look after all aspects of your circuit delivery, from ordering, through finance and technical delivery including civils work to bring the fibre into your building from the street.

Once the circuit is tested, you will be issued with a handover email, outlining all of your settings, SLA contact details, etc. If you require provisioning support, our NOC is ready to help you bring the circuit online with your infrastructure.

Your IT staff will be given a 24/7 support number which will give you paging access to our NOC (Network Operations Centre) engineers for on-going support.
